Wine is
the result of a patient and loving craft. It is
creativity and an intuition favored by the most
recent technological advances.
With a clear vision of the demands of the market,
Bórbore Winery undertook the challenge of producing
wines of a growing quality, that would reflect the
Argentinean character and style, to satisfy the
palate of a demanding connoisseur clientele. |

History |
|
The
history of Bórbore Winery dates from 1936, when Don
José Bórbore, an Italian immigrant, started his
industrial activity by creating a small winery. The
place chosen was at the foot of the Pie de Palo
mountain range, in the Tulum Valley that is the main
wine making region of San Juan. He soon gained
prestige for the value of his quality and liquorice
wines throughout the 20 th century. |

With a
renewing drive they incorporated technology to
enrich the quality of their products from the first
step in the vineyards, going through the careful
making and bottling, up to the commercialization
step.
Aiming at a vanguard viticulture, they established
new investment and development plans for the
following years. The agronomic engineers,
enologists and foremen's team work and the careful
and personal attention of the owners made it
possible to conjugate experience with youth and
dynamism to coordinate tasks and consolidate the
company.
